Students who are able to regulate/conduct themselves appropriately during class time for example, by not talking or causing disruptions during lessons, are rewarded by being given the opportunity to serve as Class Sherriff for that Particular day only.

 

sheriffs are selected on a daily basis.

 

This prestigious job is an honourable one as the sheriff is in charge of making sure students follow the rules.

 

Perks of being Class Sheriff are as follows:

 

  • You get to choose a deputy/assistant to help you maintain order in the classroom

 

  • You sit to have lunch with the teacher at her table

 

  • You get to choose a snack from the class snack bucket

 

  • You earn extra points which go towards VCCE marks

 

  • You get your Sherriff tools:                                                              

  1. Sheriff badge                                         

  2. Offender’s Book (to write names of those who break the rules)                      

 

 3. Marker to write names on          the board

 

4.  Other rewards can range          from small things like              stickers, use of playdough        etc.
