Primary School children are naturally curious and curiosity is the origin of all Science, so they are well matched. Science is relevant to the student's life and can help prepare them for their future lives in a society which continues to be shaped by scientific ideas and approaches.

Pupils come to school with views on many science concepts. At the beginning of a lesson or new concepts the pupils’ ideas are identified. This is done by encouraging them to talk about their ideas or by questioning, brainstorming, drawing, discussions, etc. In essence they themselves become scientists by making hypothesis and powering their own investigations.
