Music conveys culture and is an avenue whereby beloved songs, rhymes, and dances can be passed down from one generation to another.

Music is fun. Children love to sing and dance at home, school and at church.

Music

Music training for Standard Three students are conducted every Wednesday from 11 am.

At this stage students are trained to play the recorder. This is a required component of the Triniad & Tobago primary school curriculum.  Additionally, introduction to the recorder at this level is in preparation for the junior years of secondary school

(forms 1 to 3)

It is encouraged that each student attend sessions with their own recorder as it is a personal instrument.

Marks gained from music contributes to the final end of term assessment grade. As such, it is imperative that all students attend sessions with their recorder.
