HFL Education
Health and Family Life is taught as a result of accelerating social changes which can sometimes impact negatively on children who are not adequately equipped to cope effectively with these environmental changes.
The effects of these changes are social, psychological and physical problems such as poverty, teenage pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, infectious diseases, substance abuse and violence. The H.F.L.E curriculum seeks to empower pupils with the necessary life skills needed to over-come social problems and function as constructive members of society.
